The Marshalltown R/C Flyers strives to promote model building and flying in Marshalltown, Iowa and the surrounding vicinity. We promote the natianal programs of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) and other AMA activities. We look forward to advancing model aviation in all of its phases in Iowa and in the United States.
During the year the club has many activities. We meet at the field for meetings on the first Sunday of the month during May through October. In the past, we have held fly-in shows for the veterans of the Iowa Veterans Home on Labor Day weekend. For the hardy souls we hold an annual Freeze Fly on January 1st of every year. Stop by and fly and have fun with us.
